After Peter Paul Rubens (Flemish, 1577-1640) Copy After Helena Fourment, "Das Pelzchen. " Unsigned. Oil on canvas, 37 1/2 x 27 3/4 in. (95.0 x 70.0 cm), framed. Condition: Puncture with paint loss to u.r. quadrant, retouch, craquelure, varnish discoloration. N.B. The original portrait of Rubens's second wife was painted c. 1636-38, and shows the figure full length. The painting is part of the collection of the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna.
