Carved Oak Coffer, probably England, 19th century incorporating earlier elements, top with quarter-round edges, front with two panels with geometric designs, stiles carved with overlapping lunettes, rails with stylized leaves, ht. 25 1/2, wd. 50, dp. 21 in. Estimate $200-300 Top with front board replaced, probably reduced in height, till missing. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
