Twelve Wedgwood Claire Leighton Design New England Industries Plates, England, c. 1952, queen's ware bodies with black transfer printing taken from wood engravings including Lobstering, Logging, Farming, Whaling, Cranberrying, Tobacco Growing, Ice Cutting, Marble Quarrying, Grist Milling, Sugaring, Codfishing, and Shipbuilding, printed and impressed marks, dia. 10 1/2 in. Estimate $500-700 Whaling plates broken in half and repaired. All others in very good condition throughout with no evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations.
