Engui Gold, Diamond, and Agate Cased Watch, London, mid-18th century, domed crystal with pierced gold and applied diamonds mounted on the hinged bezel, roman numeral enameled dial, finely engraved and pierced rear plate with silvered regulator, square pillars, chain-fusee movement, and engraved "F. Engui/London," case back with domed agate stone and repousse decorated outer gold band, 46 mm, 82g. Estimate $1,500-2,000 small chip on dial around winding, hairlines in dial center, no losses to inset diamonds, agate appears to have no cracks or splits, movement ticks but does not stay running.
