Zodiac Stainless Steel "Sea Wolf" Reference 722-946B Automatic Wristwatch, c. 1960s, blue Bakelite bidirectional bezel, silver dial with orange chapter ring, marked "Zodiac/Sea Wolf/Automatic," with black and orange luminous stick hands, signed crown, snap back case, 17-jewel 72B caliber movement, dia. 35 mm. Note: The Sea Wolf was one of the first diver watches with a rotating bezel and was tested against the famous Blancpain Fifty Fathoms in 1953 at Basel Fair. The Zodiac was rated for 339 feet, surpassing the rating of the Fifty Fathoms at 330 feet. Estimate $300-500 currently, setting winding and running, case back is off and needs to be put back on, appears to be a new casket on case back.
