New Jersey Queen Anne walnut tall case clock, ca. 1750 , with a brass face and thorty-hour works, inscribed John Lawshe in Amwell , 84" h. This clock is referenced in Drost's Clocks and Watches of New Jersey , page 148, described as "One clock known," another clock inscribed John Laashe Amwell Township New Jersey Province , described in Palmer's The Book of American Clocks and described there as "One of two known," was sold at Pook and Pook, Inc. in January 2012.
