Daniel Burnap Cherry Tall Clock, Coventry, Connecticut, c. 1790, fret-top case with freestanding turned columns flanking the sheet-brass dial with moon phase in the arch, finely engraved seconds and date apertures, and reads "Burnap Coventry," full-length waist door, all resting on a simple shaped base, eight-day time and hour-strike movement with cutout plates, regulated by brass-faced pendulum and two tin-cased weights, ht. 84 in. Estimate $2,000-2,500 appears to be original seating board, moons phase paint original, original hands, one dial post replaced, fret replaced, case refinished, case bottom broken out, feet appear to be untouched.
