Crackled Celadon-glazed Figure of Guanyin, China, seated cross-legged on a lotus above a turtle, with a bowl in her hands, allover gray craquelure, ht. 9 3/8 in. Provenance: From a Maine estate. Purchased from Warren E. Cox in 1975. Estimate $800-1,000 several chips to bisque base, otherwise in good condition. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
