Aubergine-glazed Bottle Vase, China, possibly 18th century, with a long slender neck and banded rim, on a raised splayed foot with bisque foot ring, ht. 8 5/8 in. Provenance: The collection of a New England gentleman. Estimate $700-900 overall surface scratches, some glazing flaws with pockmarks and clay impurities, a potting flaw to foot ring.
