Pair of Hardwood Armchairs, China, late 20th century, with trapezoid seat, foliate scroll armrests and cabriole legs, decorated with circular marble set in the back with a bat and a "happiness" character, the aprons with "longevity" characters, all in openwork, ht. 39 5/8 in. Estimate $800-1,000 cracks to the marble of one. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
