Satsuma Vase, Japan, 20th century, oviform, decorated in five tiers with a continuous landscape with figures, cranes, and floral motifs, a mark on base partially reading "kozan zo," ht. 6 7/8 in. Provenance: From a Maine estate. Estimate $300-500 minor gilt loss particularly around mouth rim. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
