Fuzan Satsuma Plate

Fuzan Satsuma Plate, Japan, late 19th century, depicting a winged goddess playing the zither, riding on a dragon with a boy, the underside with a wave-and-bird design, "Fuzan" mark with a square seal in the face, ht. 1 1/4, dia. 10 in. Estimate $1,200-1,500 in good condition with minor surface stain to the underside. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
