Ryozan Satsuma Koro, Japan, late 19th century, globular form on three jutting feet, two applied grape leaves on shoulder, depicting harvest scenes with grapevines and figures, the cover with a carved squirrel knob, "Ryozan jo shi" mark on base, ht. 4 1/4 in.
