Tay Chee Toh (b. 1941) Watercolor, Hair Dressing, Malaysia, 1968, depicting a woman combing a girl's hair, against a green background, signed "Chee Toh" in Chinese characters with a seal, on rice paper, inscribed in English on the reverse, 37 3/8 x 17 7/8 in. Provenance: Purchased from the artist in the late 1960s; sold to the current owner in the 1990s. Estimate $2,000-3,000 backed, minor creases and tiny tears along edges, some toning and discoloration to back. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
