Federal Inlaid Tiger Maple Slant-lid Desk, 19th century, ht. 42 3/4, wd. 43 1/4, dp. 18 1/2 in. Estimate $700-900 drawers function well but don't fit flush to the case when pushed in all the way, the case is refinished with scattered water stains to the top, large splits to the lid and one side, hinges replaced and patched from likely blowout. The stringing has inconsistency in coloration and exhibits a few minor sections of lifting. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
