Mocha Pearlware Slip-decorated Jug, England, c. 1800, the body with mocha "trees" against an orange field, red slip banding, bordered by reeded and green-glazed bands, strap handle with foliate terminals, (damage), ht. 6 in. Provenance: The Jonathan Rickard Collection. Exhibitions: Mocha Mania, Dewitt Wallace Gallery, Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, Williamsburg, Virginia, 1993-1994. Estimate $150-250 Bottom is missing and restored using heavy paper board, side has a large break at the base and is missing a small piece.
