Cherry High Chest of Drawers, Massachusetts, c. 1740-60, the molded top above an upper case of five graduated thumb-molded drawers, set into a lower section of long drawer above three short drawers, and valanced skirt joining cabriole legs ending in pad feet, ht. 73, lower case wd. 38, dp. 18 in. Estimate $1,200-1,500 There are no major restorations or repairs. there is a repaired crack/minor break to one foot, some damage and cracks to thumbmolding, some shrinkage to moldings and minor warp, and the backboards are somewhat crude.
