Continental School, Late 19th/Early 20th century. Carved alabaster figural table lamp with covered shade with gadrooned edge above a turned style shaft in back of a young woman in long draped dress and head tucked down into shoulder holding arms up playing cymbals standing barefoot on a naturalistic base further supported on onyx rectangular plinth. Incised indistinguishable signature on back side of lamp base. Approximate height 21", width 4.75", depth 6.25".
