Late 19th/ early 20th century. A collection of seven match and snuff boxes, each rectangular and painted in black or wrapped in black leather, comprising of four boxes inlaid with mother of pearl decoration on top, one inscribed on lid "skall det vara en pris? (shall be a price?)", and the remaining two with simple impressed borders. The leather box is lined in velvet and inscribed on the interior lid "Leroy W. Fairchild and Co. Manufrs. New York". Largest box measures 1.75" x 3.5", smallest box measures 1" x 2.75".
