Johnson, Samuel (1709-1784) Facsimile Edition of A Dictionary of the English Language. London: Longman, 1990. Two folio volumes bound in full bonded red leather, housed in the publisher's slipcase, and accompanied by the two pamphlets: Fleeman's The Genesis of Johnson's Dictionary, and a facsimile of the original prospectus for the work, The Plan of a Dictionary; a photographic actual-size facsimile, based on the first edition of 1755.
