Silver Spoon Holder Sugar Urn and Twelve Silver Spoons, America, late 18th century, urn with swing handle with pickwork inscription "CL/JSL and X-form base marked on the underside in four spots "IE" in a sunken cartouche, possibly for Joseph Edwards of Boston, Massachusetts, holding twelve teaspoons with bright-cut and wrigglework decoration, the ends with faint pickwork inscription "CL/JSL," six spoons marked "IE" in a sunken cartouche on the back, six spoons marked twice with "RB" sunken cartouche on the back possibly for Robert Burnham of New York, ht. 8 in., approx. 14.7 troy oz.
