Carved Walnut Dressing Table, Massachusetts, mid-18th century, the molded top above a case of one long above three short drawers, the central drawer with concave arch, above a skirt with flattened arches joining four cabriole legs, replaced brasses, refinished, (imperfections), ht. 30 1/4, case wd. 29 3/4, case dp. 17 3/4 in. Provenance: Frances Bealey American Arts, Essex, Connecticut, 1987. Estimate $2,000-3,000 repair to one pad foot (original piece reattached), drops replaced, crack and repair at top of backboard, added screws to affix top to case.
