Model 1860 Cavalry Saber, c. 1862, brass hilt with wooden grip, blade marked "LAMB" on one side of the ricasso, and "U.S/LL/1862" on the other side, steel blade and scabbard, blade lg. 35, overall lg. 41 in. Provenance: The collection of Nicholas A. Penachio. Estimate $200-250 Leather and wire missing from the grip, blade has some patina and a few fire marks on the cutting edge.
