Murphy Combat Fighting Knife, c. 1940s, aluminum grip marked on one side "MURPHY COMBAT" and "U.S.A" on the opposite, with a steel blade and leather scabbard, blade lg. 6 1/4, overall lg. 11 5/8 in. Provenance: The collection of Nicholas A. Penachio. Estimate $300-500 In overall good condition, scabbard is missing one copper rivet.
