A stunning view of the entire subcontinent of India captured from an altitude of 410 miles during the 26th orbit. 'The photographs I remember best from Gemini 11,' noted Gordon, 'were those taken during the high-altitude portion of the flight," especially "...that very famous one of the subcontinent of India in its entirety' (Schick and Van Haaften, p. 80).
