Condition: Scattered minor handling creases or similar. N.B. Aldrin developed an effective approach to spacewalking that used technique rather than force to deal with the weightless environment. The zero-gravity training took place aboard an Air Force KC-135 jet aircraft; Aldrin practices EVA work tasks, secured to a mock-up of the Agena Target Docking Vehicle by special tethers (NASA caption). 'One thing I know about Buzz, he's one of these guys that's a lot smarter than most of us,' said Alan Bean. 'He had a nickname, Dr. Rendezvous' (from the movie In the Shadow of the Moon).
