Model 1884 Trapdoor Springfield Rifle and Bayonet, 1890, serial number 47986, .45-70 caliber, walnut stock with a very light cartouche and circle "P", lock marked "U.S./SPRINGFIELD", and a bayonet, barrel lg. 32 5/8, overall lg. 52 in. Estimate $300-500 Stock has a few dings and nicks, some light rust on the lock plate. Overall in good condition.
