Percussion Rifle-musket, c. 1862, walnut stock with light cartouche marks, marked on the lock "1862" and "U.S./SPRINGFIELD", barrel dated "1863" on the breech, barrel lg. 40, overall lg. 56 in. Estimate $700-900 Stock has a few dings and nicks and a crack on the forestock, some pitting on the butt plate, the lock functions properly and it is missing the ramrod.
