1st Maine Cavalry Veteran's Medal and Ribbon, c. late 19th century, a Henry lever-action rifle bar with "1st ME." on the butt, a yellow ribbon with a pine tree, crossed sabers, and a horse head in a horseshoe, and a yellow ribbon with printed "FIRST MAINE CAVALRY/RE-UNION." on the front. Provenance: The collection of Nicholas A. Penachio. Estimate $100-150 The ribbon on the medal is lightly soiled but in good condition.
