Civil War and Grand Army of the Republic Material Belonging to Julius Morse, c. 19th to 20th century. a Civil War enlisted man's belt, "US" marked plate, bayonet scabbard with an earlier American bayonet, a smooth side canteen with some remaining cloth covering, a Grand Army of the Republic sword, and a Sam Browne belt. Note: Julius Morse served in the 13th Vermont Infantry Regiment during the Civil War. Estimate $400-600 Belt has a repair, plate is in good condition, scabbard has some flaking, bayonet has some surface patina, GAR sword has some damage, and the Sam Browne belt is in good condition.
