Condition: Minor wear to corners. N.B. James Irwin can be seen digging a trench using the lunar surface scoop by forcing it into the ground then propelling the soil backwards between his legs (Constantine, p. 78). He is bending over as far as he is able to in the stiff Apollo suit, which the astronauts often called "hard suits" (Reynolds, p. 188). Mt. Hadley is in the background, about 14 kilometers away.
