Sapper's Helmet and Breast Plate, c. second quarter of the 17th century, iron, hemispherical with shallow medial ridge, front and back riveted iron brims, large ear protectors, retains original linen lining with tow padding, and a heavy iron plate with bullet text mark, remnants of original straps, and linen lining with tow padding. Estimate $1,500-2,500 In very good condition with intact linings.
