18th Century Man's Waistcoat, c. 1770s, red cotton velvet front panels and half-back panels, welted pockets, stamped metal buttons with wood backs, pieced rear skirts, upper back is a cloth-colored plain woven bay, lined in the fronts with bay and the backs coarse linen. Estimate $700-900 has one period replacement button, and missing two (one in the pocket), some light wear and a few moth nips on the wool bay but in very good condition.
