Scottish Mahogany Drum-head Tall Case Clock, mid-19th century, 17 1/2-in. dia. molded hinged bezel over the composite brass dial with roman numeral chapter ring, seconds, and date subsidiary dials, and blued spade-shaped hands, slender waist with convex crotch mahogany door, inset lower paneled base all resting on simple bracket feet, eight day time, and strike movement, regulated by brass-cased weight with iron strap, cast iron weights marked "B&S" one marked "10," the other "12," ht. 80 1/4 in.
