Gilbert "Amphion" Shelf Clock, Winstead, Connecticut, c. 1885, walnut and ebonized case with applied carved moldings, beveled etched mirrored side panels flanking the dome-top door with decorated glass, 5-in. printed paper dial over the eight-day time and strike movement, regulated by a pendulum with etched mirrored bob, ht. 25 in. Estimate $300-400 Clock ticks and strikes. One piece of case decoration off but with the clock.
