Colt Model 1851 Navy Revolver, c. 1853, serial number 31159, all matching except the wedge (9800), walnut grip, silver-plated brass back-strap and trigger guard, cylinder scene intact, octagonal barrel marked "ADDRESS SAML COLT NEW YORK CITY," barrel lg. 7 1/2, overall lg. 13 1/4 in. Estimate $1,000-1,500 Grip has a few dings and nicks, most blueing gone on the frame but the barrel retains about 70% blueing, and the action functions properly.
