Three Davis & Son Anemometers, London, 19th century, a 6 1/2-in. instrument with brass frame marked on top "Davis & Son London & Derby," two small pillar feet, and a five dial read-out, fitted in its original leather-bound case, a 6 1/4-in. instrument with central two dial reading "Davis & Son Derby 141B," and horizontal bar engraved "Birams Patent," and a mahogany case example with 6-in. black-painted brass fins, central dial reading "Davis Derby Birams 117 Patent."
