Two John Davis & Son's "Biram's" Boxed Anemometer, England, 19th century, no. 943, and 379B, both with lacquered brass stands and carrying handles, silvered dials with six subsidiary dials, one with twelve skin-covered blades, the other with calico-covered blades, both framed by a copper circumference band and stretchers, one housed in a red-washed pine box, dia. 12 in.
