Drypoint on paper, plate size 8 x 11 7/8 in., unmatted, unframed. Condition: Margins 1 inch or more with deckled edges, pencil annotations to lower margin, minor creases/losses to corners of margins, soiling to margins typical of a working proof, old hinges to verso. Provenance: Descended within the family of the artist. N.B. Benson created an E state of this composition, darkening the background further still, before creating the final published state.
