Edward Cucuel (American, 1875-1954) Draped Model Signed "Cucuel" l. r. Oil on canvas, 25 3/4 x 18 1/2 in. (65.5 x 47.0 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, retouch, craquelure, scattered abrasions with small paint losses, canvas rippling, tacking edges reinforced. Estimate $15,000-25,000 The lining is adhere with a mixture of resin and wax. The retouch is primarily tiny, concenetrated dots and dashes. There are some coin-sized areas f retouch to her gown and the background. The work might benefit from a cleaning.
