Paul Strisik (American, 1918-1998) Motif #1 Signed "Paul Strisik" l. r., stamped "PAUL STRISIK/8 REMSEN STREET/BROOKLYN N.Y." and inscribed"5/53" on the reverse. Oil on canvasboard, 15 3/4 x 20 in. (40.2 x 50.7 cm), framed. Condition: Subtle varnish discoloration. Estimate $600-800 Also inscribed "#2-D" and "H-5022" on the reverse. There are small areas at lower left and lower right where the canvas is visible. It is not clearly evident whether these are due to abrasion or if they were left bare by the artist.
