Confederate Gardner Pattern Canteen Captured by a Member of the Pennsylvania Reserves, c. 1861-65, cedar canteen with iron bands, carved on the front top of the drum "PENNA Res CORPS," dia. 7 1/4, wd. 2 3/8 in. Estimate $1,000-2,000 Some lose sections from age and a crack on the back drum but in overall very good condition.
