Queen Anne Britannia Standard Silver Tankard, London, 1712-13, maker's mark "TH" with lower pellet probably for Samuel Thorne, with a domed covered and raised thumb-piece, ht. 7 1/8 in., approx. 21.2 troy oz. Estimate $3,000-4,000 Light surface wear abrasions, few very minor shallow dents. Rough silver solder to foot joint (underside) and thumbpiece joint. No evidence of engraving removal. Lid with date and maker's mark, handle with maker's mark.
