Donald H. Stoltenberg (American, 1927-2016) Sail Yachts. Signed and dated "Stoltenberg 1969 imp" l.r., titled l.c., numbered "22/30" l.l., identified on a label from Kanegis Gallery, Boston, affixed to the frame backing. Collagraph on paper, sight size 10 1/2 x 13 1/2 in., framed. Condition: Mat burn, not examined out of frame, glass broken. N.B. A collagraph describes a print made from a collage of materials glued on to a printing plate. When glue is dry, the surface of the plate is shellacked or varnished so that it can be inked or painted. Paper is then pressed on to the surface, either by hand or through a press, to produce a print.
