William and Mary Brown-painted Pine Two-drawer Blanket Chest, 18th century, ht. 37 1/2, wd. 37, dp. 18 in. Estimate $200-400 splits and old nail holes to the top which appears to be original, there is a new block of wood where one of the snipe hinges blew out, the interior has a sort of lacquered or varnished finish, the feet are new replacements and the pulls also appear to be replaced.
