Chippendale Carved Cherry Linen Press, probably New Jersey, c. 1780, the cornice above cupboard doors with molded shaped panels flanked by stop-fluted pilasters, above a lower section of three thumb-molded graduated drawers on ogee bracket base, refinished, replaced brasses, detached interior shelves and back panels, (imperfections), ht. 76, lower case wd. 45, lower case dp. 20 in. Estimate $2,000-3,000 backboards to upper section need to be reattached. refinished, with splits to the molding, splits and repairs to the bottom 2 inches of the ogee bracket feet, brasses replaced, likely retrofitted to a tv, but backboards and shelves do accompany the piece.
