Framed Needlework Picture of Flowers and Birds, possibly Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, c. 1730-40, worked in silk on a linen background in its entirety, one bird perched on a flower stem and another flying above, mounted in its likely original frame with iron loop hanger, ht. 7 3/4, wd. 6 1/2 in. (sight). Note: A strikingly similar needlework signed and dated "Hannah Reeve, 1733" was sold at Sotheby's, May 19, 2005, Lot 159.
