Chippendale Mahogany Dining Table, Massachusetts, c. 1760-80, rectangular drop-leaf top above a cyma-curved skirt joining cabriole legs ending in carved claw-and-ball feet, refinished, (imperfections, repair), ht. 27 3/4, wd. open 46 1/2, dp. 47 1/4 in. Estimate $800-1,200 repaired split near one hinge approximately a foot long, shrinkage crack with finish loss on a leaf, shrinkage to top means that leaves don't hang totally straight down, minor moisture staining to top.
