Massive Molded Copper Marino Ram Weathervane, possibly Massachusetts, late 19th century, flattened full-body form with textured surface, and applied embossed sheet copper horns, later silver paint, ht. 30 1/2, lg. 46 in. Provenance: Removed from a mill building prior to the filling in of the Quabbin Reservoir between 1930 and 1939. The towns of Dana, Enfield, Greenwich, and Prescott in central Massachusetts were lost. From a Bernardston, Massachusetts, collection.
