Small Federal Cherry and Bird's-eye Maple Inlaid Bureau, probably Massachusetts, c. 1800, the rectangular top with string-inlaid edge above a case of four cockbeaded, graduated, and mahogany cross-banded drawers, all on a cutout base joining French feet, replaced brasses, refinished, (imperfections), ht. 36, case wd. 38, case dp. 17 1/2 in. Estimate $700-900 bottom drawer needs small amount of work not to stick, shrinkage crack in top, some patching to feet, very minor shrinkage cracks to sides.
